Welcome to ACAPA

The American College of Arts and Performing Arts is a small, rigorous conservatory-style college located in Eastbridge, Vermont. Since 1947, ACAPA has trained artists, performers, and creative professionals across five disciplines. Our programs combine technical mastery with conceptual depth, preparing graduates for careers on stage, screen, and in studios worldwide.

Enrollment: approximately 1,200 undergraduates and 180 graduate students. Student-to-faculty ratio: 9:1. Average class size: 14.

ACAPA admits students through a competitive portfolio and audition process. We seek students who demonstrate both technical ability and creative commitment. Applications are reviewed holistically; no single factor is determinative.
